is Jesus lost?
This is the day the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad.
Psalm 118:24

Where is Jesus?
“They have taken the Lord from the tomb,
and we don’t know where they put him.”
So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb…
When Simon Peter arrived after him [other disciple],
he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there,
and the cloth that had covered his head,
not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place.
Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed.
For they did not yet understand the Scripture
that he had to rise from the dead.“
Mary Magdalene arrives at the tomb to find it empty. In a panic, she runs to tell the Apostles. Peter and John had to see for themselves. Scripture says that they still didn’t understand.
We can relate to this today. Have you lost Jesus? Did you leave Him at home or at Church?
It can feel like He is missing from our lives with our day-to-day schedules and responsibilities. That’s why it is so important to go to Him every day. It requires a conscious effort and decision to stay connected! We can do that anywhere in prayer and a personal conversation. We can go to Church to visit Jesus in the Tabernacle or in a Monstrance at Eucharistic Adoration. What can you commit to? Make a plan and just do it!
