The Man Born Blind

Brothers and sisters:

You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.

Live as children of light, for light produces every kind of goodness and righteousness and truth.

Try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord…Christ will give you light. Letter to the Ephesians Chapter 5

Jesus spit on the ground in the Gospel from John 9 and made clay to smear on the eyes of this man. He uses dirt to clean and clear his eyes! People don’t believe the man born blind as he recounts the story of Jesus telling him to wash in the pool of Siloam and how he regained his sight. It’s hard to believe in miracles.

Could this happen to me?

Put yourself in the story. Is Jesus ready to heal you today? Will you let him? Will you follow his directions?

Maybe you are the skeptical listener. Do you believe miracles can happen? Praise God when you see them or hear about them! Take one more small step to believe and trust!

Put on God’s glasses.
