Episode 2! Mobility and Intention

“I wanted to talk today about increasing your mobility. One of the things that I’ve been thinking about over the last week was how fluid or graceful my motion is. Over the last couple of years, I’ve been improving my health and concentrating on building muscle, adding more challenges to not only my health and my eating, but moving and improving. So, my goal is every day to try to improve something. I make a conscious decision every single day about what I eat, what I do, how I feel, and what I think. It’s intentional.

I only have today to change something. Tomorrow’s tomorrow. Yeah, you could say ‘tomorrow may never come,’ but tomorrow’s coming! And I want to invest in who I am going to be tomorrow today. So, I try to concentrate on several things. I get into a routine. I have food routines, health ideas and a couple of supplements and try not to take a lot of medications. So, here we go.

Okay. And I haven’t been dancing much lately. To improve my health and keep things going, I need to do something every day. I appreciate a lot of other stuff. I’m going to do a whole another podcast on just what you could do like clean your house and how much that could change your flexibility, your mobility and movement. So, what I would say today is that I’m getting those skills back and keeping them. I want to be able to stand up, get up from my chair, and get up and down off the floor. This can become more difficult as we get older as we can get stiffer. It has to do with hormones and all kinds of things. I’m not concentrating on that. I’m concentrating on the fact that I could do this if I want to.”

Today’s intention concerned increasing mobility. I want to encourage everyone to know that no matter what your age is, you are changing daily. Your body is changing, good or bad, each day. It depends on your food, exercise, water intake, and so much more. You have the power to change every day!
